The ECO Motor Company, which will be
producing the EMC3 Commuter, has set the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested
Retail Price) at a very affordable $13,995.00 for vehicles equipped with the
standard 5-speed manual transmission and $14,995 with the optional automatic
transmission. As a three-wheeled vehicle,
the United States federal government classifies the EMC3 Commuter as a
motorcycle; yet, compared to traditional motorcycles, the EMC3 Commuter has
car-like comfort for two. The EMC3 Commuter's side-by-side driver and passenger
seating configuration, instrument cluster, and its many amenities make this unique vehicle
feel like a sports car; yet this gas-powered vehicle can
exceed 60 miles per gallon! It will be a great daily driver; perfect for
both city and highway driving. Its motorcycle classification even allows a single driver
in an EMC3 Commuter to utilize the high occupancy vehicle (HOV) commuter lanes in most
areas of the United States.
The base MSRP of $13,995.00 is planned to give consumers access to a quality
vehicle at a sensible price, and the EMC3 Commuter's chassis and design are
based on automobile regulations that make safety a primary consideration.
Thus, the EMC3 Commuter comes with
dynamic side impact beams, crumple zones, dual airbags, roll bar and many
more safety features as standard equipment. Additionally, while many
other manufacturers charge their customers extra for every feature in their
economy cars, the innovative ECO Motor Company includes many
customer-oriented features as the EMC3 Commuter's standard equipment, such as: air
conditioning, power windows, power door locks, and an MP3 compatible audio
system, just to name a few.
The EMC3 Commuter is designed to be economical to operate, safe, and fun to drive with
its sports car feel. There is even ample storage space to provide room for
either day trips or longer excursions. And when matched with its 10 gallon fuel
tank, the EMC3 Commuter can travel over 600 miles before refueling. Even with
today's sky rocketing gas prices, that's only about .05 cents a mile!
